Manufactured from corrosion resistant galvanised steel. Circular spigot.

Fire dampers contain a steel curtain held in the open position by a fused link. The link will break once a certain temperature is reached and powerful springs pull the curtain closed. By default the dampers close at 72° C, although other links are available on request.

All fire dampers are to be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions; a copy of which can be found here.

As above but includes a frame to enable installation in brickwork.

"Why would I need an installation frame?"
When exposed to high temperatures the steel casing of the damper will expand. In the absence of a frame, this would cause the mechanism to jam, preventing the damper from closing. The frame provides a cavity between the damper body and the brickwork. This allows for expansion and ensures the damper closes correctly.
