Two piece construction. Used to suspend ducts i.e. ducts installed horizontally. Requires just one 8mm stud.

As a general guide, and assuming a straight run of duct, supports on spiral ducting should be placed every 3m minimum.

Split Ring Supports
SPR

Two piece split ring. Can be used to install ducts horizontally or vertically. Used in combination with support channel and threaded rod they can be used to make an effective wall support (see the FAQ section for tips on fixing duct to a wall). Requires two studs.
